GTA3 is a universal app though, so this does not apply.

This is the main thing that bugs me about Apple and the AppStore.

Surely more down to the developers though, no? Given that making it universal is an option and all.

There is no 'HD' option.

I paid £2.99 for it and installed it on both my iPad and iPhone, just like many other apps with that little [+] in the top left on the store.

I was sitting next to a guy on the train this morning reading the news on his iPad when he saw me playing GTA he waited until I'd failed a mission and then asked how I got it. Rockstar should be paying me commission!

It's possible to mod the game, take a look here. I've enabled all of the A5 effects and the better vehicles on my iPhone 4. Looks much better now without much effect on performance.

have only had a little play on it. 5 mins tops. its a bit annoying to control i find compared to the console , obviously. its a strange one as well. im not sure its the kind of game i want to play on my phone. normally when i play on my phone its for about 10 mins on the tube or bus. and flicking between games. i think ill never really put the time into it compared to if it was a console version

I found it so difficult to control, i have the ipad 2 version.

But frankly I find all ipad 2 games tough to control.

Still can't get 100% on the iPhone version. The sniper rifle is too slow to move so stopping me from getting a few rampages.

95% only.

Am I right in saying you can't control the camera with GTA:III like you can with the others? I seem to get in a pickle during combat. Maybe I'm missing something.
