Customers can just as bad tbh, had plenty of times when a customer has complained saying nothing has turned up even though I've been posted a note through the door, during the allocated time slot. (They have even said there hasn't been any note posted and adamant they were in) plenty of times I've banged doors, windows and looked over back fence to see if they in garden etc. If it's a high security item (phone, laptop etc) unless stated to go to neighbour etc. It has to be taken by the customer and photographed.
Why bother ordering stuff for that specific time and not be at home ready for it, or have someone there? Then complain that it has been returned to the depot...
