Except his own...
Bizarre that you’d put so much effort into prolonging your life via your approach to health and then take such risks.
Except his own...
67 isn’t a terrible lot in life, shame though. Careful out there gentlemen.
Yes, quality of life after 75 can really go down hill.
Could be anything. Good friend of mine in extremely good health died in his sleep last year. Turned out he had an aggressive brain cancer, never knew about it.It sounds more likely to be heat stroke IMO He did everything possible to try and not have the health issues his other male relatives had and looked in great shape
About retirement age is not what I'd consider a good innings.67 isn’t a terrible lot in life, shame though. Careful out there gentlemen.

What makes it so much worse is that he was a medical doctor, therefore knew exactly how intense heat could affect the human body, and he was 67. Plus like you said why didn't he take his mobile with him. Even a non-medically trained person would know to avoid doing what he did in those temperatures, it's like that phrase "Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun".Oh dear RIP Michael Mosley.
What an idiot! He would still alive if he gone back home and had a lie down after felt unwell. Cant believed he decided to walked to the wrong side of Agia Marina beach and collapsed 10 metres from shore behind the fence as kids played balls near the fence completed unaware Michael was there behind the fence probably faint or blackout then dying of dehydration as 200 people walked, people swam, boats, drones and emergency helicopter passed Michael 20 TIMES since Wednesday and he probably died 2 days ago.
How on earth did people at Agia Marina beach searched for him did not noticed his body and his purple umbrella? I find it really strange Michael did not yell for help after he fainted on Wednesday. His wife or Agia Marina beach bar man would found him if he had mobile phone with him then he would texted wife for help after collapsed.
How do you construde "isn’t a terrible lot in life" to "good innings"?About retirement age is not what I'd consider a good innings.
edit: Because I misunderstood lolHow do you construde "isn’t a terrible lot in life" to "good innings"?
I wish you would learn to write coherentlyOh dear RIP Michael Mosley.

According to this article:https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/...ip-sea-left-wife-fearing-suffered-stroke.html he had transient global amnesia brought on by cold-water swimming, not a stroke. They say he looked confused in his CCTV footage. He had a mini stroke earlier in the year when he kept asking if it was 2017 and he kept trying to remember his children's names. Heatstroke can also cause confusion.
