Soldato
Not taking the mobile is a strange, and hopefully not fatal decision. Don't think he's ever mentioned mental health issues has he?
The 67-year-old's agent has confirmed his disappearance
He is known for appearing
Shocked he’s 67, he looks much younger
Healthy eating. I doubt McDonalds are on his list of things to eat. I've seen so many of his programmes, even got some of his books...Shocked he’s 67, he looks much younger

Maybe. He did sort his diabetes out with diet though.Or just genetics.
Looking at it on maps, it looks a very dry barren landscape. Not hard to get overwhelmed by heat, especially if he didn’t have a big cool bottle of water
Or just genetics.
What's the saying, smart people often do some very dumb things. But I'll reserve judgment until we know what happened. You'd hope a doctor would be smart enough to know that.
Anyway let's hope he just got lost. It happened to me at Centreparks once
most snakes tend to be shy, and one of those is a rare sighting. But it is a possibility. They have ottoman viper there, not good to get bit in the middle of nowhere without a phone.
An intelligent man / doctor would be well aware of the risks from heat stroke so i predict he had some hidden stuff going on...
I was there last weekend and after unloading and parking the car i got lost for about an hour. The place is badly signposted.IIRC all of his male relatives died at young ages (well 40-60), from heart/blood pressure diseases and that's why he was so interested in finding ways to improve health. If I'm not confusing him ofcourse but I'm 97% on that

He qualified as a doctor but only worked as one for a very short period before doing into TV in the 80s.You'd hope a doctor would be smart enough to know that.

Not a practicing one and hasn't practiced for almost 40 years.So...he's a doctor then?
Too true. Just got back from Portugal and for the first time ever we didn't roam the "shops" at midday and ponder why it was closed. Up early(ish) -> pool or beach -> back to villa by midday - wait it out until 1400/1500, then hit the pool/beach again.Every year the same. Sun hits like a freight train between 12 and 5 pm it doesn't take long to faint.
Please stay under the shade, don't move much, enjoy your Greek frappe and salad so you can come home safe and if you must walk somewhere during those times never do it alone.
There is a very good reason siesta is a thing.
