Dragon Age Inquisition

I haven't been this excited about a game in years. I am counting down the days to this and will be downloading at midnight (or as soon as it's released)!!

The talk of BSN at the mo is the ESRB rating which gives us a few hints at content:eek:

cant have sex, great visuals, swords and violence and such in the same game as what would happen is games needs more of that reflecting real life slightly within the historic format. The prejudice vs sex but its ok to swear and kill seems unortodox to me.

yea look forward to spend some time watching birds fly, horses ride and dragons flame fire.
 
I started up DA2 again in preparation...played a few hours, and I just can't do it. Even at it's very best it is jut about average. It is just an incredibly dull game though, and the combat is appalling. I'll just go through The Keep to refresh my memory.

PS. I really hope you get the option to kill Hawke in Inquisition!

Haha I tried the same.

Managed to get to Kirkwall and put it down. One play through was enough I think

Too many other good games to play

I have actually played it though twice, once when the dlc was released, so this would have been a third time. I got about 3 hours in and there is no way I could go on. I can't think of anything good to say about it tbh. Hawke is a seriously bad character no matter how you play him/her.

Also, experiencing the combat again has me worried for Inquisition:/

I'm happily running a Core2duo 1.8Ghz chip with a 7850 card, but I'm dismayed to see this needs a quad core. I was on the verge of building a new system with the pentium anniversary chip (obviously overclocking it!), but now it looks like this won't be good enough.

Does anyone reckon the game will still run with this chip at 4Ghz or will it simply not start without the right number of cores? Maybe I just need to get with the times, even though I feel my hand is being forced.

I guess it's too early to say at the moment for sure. I recall Dragon Age:Origins was the game that forced me to upgrade from my Core2Duo E6600 to my current i7-920 back in 2010 though! It was supposed to run OK on a Core2duo but it ran like a dog TBH!
 
I'm genuinely hopeful. Loved the first, never played the second.

Played Origins on console, so missed the proper tactical combat, which I'm currently enjoying in Divinity: OS. I just hope they don't mess up Inquisition...

I was going to wait but... I'm really looking forward to starting the DA:I journey which is only weeks away now!!:D

They've been testing a queuing system apparently so when it does go live we may not be able to get in right away so patience may be needed. No official word yet about time but it's thought it will be this evening our time:)

Just a note guys that there are apparently lots of spoilers out there so beware if you don't want to know more of the story.

Apparently a new Trailer is coming which may give more away. I'm going to try and avoid anymore info beyond technicalities, not sure if I'll succeed but I'm going to try:o:D

Cant wait for this. This and the Witcher 3 with that being number one are my most looking forward to games at the moment. Feels like its been a while since there was a top RPG game.
 
It does feel like forever but to be honest the excitement has died down quite a bit for me as every time I see the combat I just keep thinking it's mass effect but with swords and magic.
I think that's partly to do with watching people play the game with a control pad and it looks like they've only got 4 skills :|
 
Have they changed the art style from origins, now its been a good few years since I played origins but when I look at inquisitions it seems a little cartoony (perhaps not the ideal word)?

This would have been a day 1 buy / pre order but after the disappointment of DA2 ill wait for player reviews.
