Dragon Age Inquisition

I'm not sure, it doesn't look like a dragon age game at all at the moment.

I can't see any group mechanic unless they have gone all mass effect on the dragon age series, also the combat seems to have moved from tactical to twitch (I'd assume as an attempt to appease the console gamers).

If they reinvent the series to match the calibre of mass effect they maybe, it could be good - but if it drops the depth, customisation & party mechanics then for me the franchise is well & truly dead.

When is this out, and will it actually look like that?

Like you lot, I mostly care for the game play, which if that's not there, then count me out.

Its coming out for consoles so I'm not getting my hopes up whatsoever. Saying that, Witcher 3 is also coming out for console, but I have a lot more faith in CD project.

I've used this as an excuse to complete Dragon Age: Origins & kick-start on Dragon Age II. It does look good & I am enjoying the previous instalments.

However, have always been a divinity fan, and the new Divinity looks good, may sway me into playing Divinity Original Sin more.

I'll no doubt grab this as it's looking better than 2 so far. However I'll be busy with work when it launches so it'll be a month or so afterwards till I get my typical week off to relax after harvest and hopefully this will make the perfect game to treat myself to

Looked pretty good. have they mentioned anything about controller support for PC yet. I wasn't that bothered, but if the combat isn;t going to be like DA:O then I will probably play it with a controller.

Always been one of the biggest fails of Bioware not to have native controller support on their most recent games, especially the ME series which is ridiculous!

I'll definitely get it on release as I pretty much only play story driven games/RPGs and this will be worth getting even if it is below par imo

I think there is going to be controller support this time (think it was asked on the Bioware forum a while ago but not 100% sure):)

Gameplay from the booth*, Dwarf Male Warrior:cool:

highlights: Party banter:cool:, closer look at mounts:cool:, wildlife in environments:cool: closer look at combat:cool:

I'm also enjoying a new play through:) Origins really is an excellent game:cool:

Witcher 3 is vastly superior to this. Its like comparing a AAA game with an Indie game.

A little premature to make such a sweeping statement:confused: don't you think:p I'm sure there's room for more than one excellent AAA RPG:p I for one plan on enjoying both:D

I just saw a Q & A where Mark Darah said the demo shown was captured on a PC using a controller:cool:

Actually I'm looking forward to it!

I really did not like DA:2 at all, yet Origins was highly addictive :)

Glad to hear it mate:)

Just heard that the DA:KEEP will recount past events when creating our world state so it sounds like that will be something else to look forward to:)

I'm glad I'm doing another play through to refresh my memory:o so hopefully I'll mirror my choices:)

Well this is now firmly on my must have list, I thought that new Batman game looked impressive but this is on another level and dare I say it looks better than Witcher 3 /hides

Epic fan interview by Gamermd83:cool:

Bioware are heading back to Canada with a heap load of awards from E3 and praise from all sides:cool:

Sounds as if we'll get our hands on the DA: KEEP before Oct so should be fun deciding how the story will begin and be shaped before DA:I arrives in October:)
