Well I got my tickets to see them in Cardiff in December!

Fantastic awesome band, and for those who don't like them, you should DEFINAATELY be able to appreciate the amount of skill they can put into their guitar playing (especially as they play most gigs drunk). If you cant appreciate the talent then you have no taste :p

Anyone else going to see them on this tour?

seen them a few times, and agreed it is all about them having fun
they're pretty sound guys as well
i'll probably be at the manchester one, need to sort where in the country i'll be living 1st

you sound like a friend of mine. "if your opinion doesn't match mine...it doesn't count".

do you say "the fact of the matter is..." a lot?

Valley of the Damned and Disciples of Babylon.

Edit: On second thoughts... just get the first album, "Valley of the Damned".

Definitely Valley of the Damned album, best one imo :) I absolutely love the song "Starfire"

In my company he doesn't. I'll tell him to get on the forums to give his reply.

sorry, that was meant as jokey sarcasm, as was the line of text i quoted. i should really use more smileys

Hehe, well... the fact of the matter is that... :p

Nah theyre awesome. Definately the first album (VOTD), sonic firestorm is more like votd part 2, and the only song that beats the first albbum on inhuman rampage is trail of broken hearts.

Anyone follow that? ;)

I did. But you're wrong, the ballads are the worst songs on their respective albums. They're just not dragonforce enough.

Nah the ballads give a bit of a change i feel.

Not my fave songs though, That would by soldiers of the wasteland, disciples of babylon, and probably where dragons rule.

Nice to slow it down a bit i reckon.

I saw them at manchester academy on their 'first strike' tour and it was awsome. Got tickets for their gig in december and I already cant wait :D

Got to love vallay of the damned, my spirit will go on (these 2 being the classics) and I think once in a life time is an amazing song too :) Hell I love it all, dont dislike any of their stuff.

Ive got myself some tickets to see them at the Guildhall in soton in november... I loved the last concert I went to!

Absolute legendary band... some awesome guitar skills there even if the lead singer tends not to sing a lot whilst on stage :p

Seconded. The ballads are even more tongue in cheek than the rest of the songs, it's them mocking the power metal stereotype. ZP brought out a cowboy hat and an old style microphone just to play the ballad when I saw them.

VOTD is the best album, couldn't name a favourite song but Prepare for War is up there...

Bring on the second strike.
