Why on earth would someone sat at home watching the show think someone was making them an offer! Surely there's no need for a disclaimerWhy, what's wrong with that![]()

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for narration but it seems like a lot of the time in Dragons' Den it seems to be there just to fill time as it is a waste of it. They try to build suspense by having the long breaks with music between people talking but totally ruin the suspense when the narrator tells you exactly what is about to happen.
They're probably afraid of being sued.
To be honest it's probably partially because they know it's a good show and the longer they can make it the longer you're stuck on their channel. This really annoys me too, most of the show is just filler now between the narrator and montages of things we're just about to see. I can't give the show my full attention any more because it's so drawn out.
I'm fairly sure all the filler is for channels with adverts, but why should a BBC show do that? If we're going to have to sit through so much dross, why not just have adverts on that channel too?
There's a funny sketch here:

Evan Davis isn't it? He's been doing economic pieces for the BBC for a long time now, I think he's pretty good, but his talents are totally wasted on that show, anyone could do the job he has there.

You can add Richard Farleigh to the "bring back" list. Top bloke. Always impeccably courteous, even in the face of manifest stupidity, and always quick to provide constructive criticism.
Plus, he completely dominated Peter Jones.![]()

Get rid of Deborah Meaden, James Caan and bring back Doug Richard and Simon Woodroffe.
Still a good show but the 1st series had the best line-up of dragons by far.
