I think Naughty Dog did not realize it was possible to download the game in EU/Japan and left the demo region lockedNobody's actually said what caused the problem on non-US PS3s though...
Finally a game that really shows off the true PS3 potential. Graphics are absolutely outstanding and not a hint of slowdown, very impressive. Everything about it I loved bring on the full game think I am going to put a pre-order down online for this I think.
Don't forget it can be imported for less than UK price and the release is staggered by 2 weeks so you would still get it earlier than UK release.

Good, I might just do that. What are your thoughts on the game mate?
Bioshock is as linear, but there's a lot more going on than just the shooting. And since Uncharted isn't an FPS, the comparison isn't a fair one anyway.just described most fps or action games in existence.... bioshock...move through area kill baddies go next area do same....

The demo reminds me of Stranglehold, you move to an area, kill an almost endless supply of baddies, move on. I just wasn't expecting the shooting elements to be as heavy in Uncharted.
I'd like to have seen more exploration, though it's entirely possible that they've shown as much as was possible in a demo.
I don't want it to come accross that I'm calling it a bad game, because I'm not. I've been following it for a while and will still most likely buy it, I'll just be paying close attention to the reviews to see if the amount of shooting is consistent throughout the game.
Not sure how the full game will be, but the demo is basically one area, which there is only ever one way to progress through. No loading screens, although it is quite a short demo.hrmm so its like a series of levels? (loading screens in between etc) sorta mission based? I also dont want to see lots of shooting levels.
I was hoping it was kinda free-form like you said wander about exploring and you just adapt to what you need to overcome (e.g. platforms, enemies, puzzles etc)
I tell you this, if its anything like Call of Juarez i will be tearing my eyes out. a series of set-pieces: shooting mission;loading screen; sneak mission;loading screen; shoot mission;loading screen; sneak mission etc.
Guys great to hear this is now working, gonna get it tonight.
Can i ask if its easy to purchase items from USA or Japan.
My main concern is regarding GT5 Prolouge when its released for sale/download in December.
What credit cards work?
Sweet, my copy of Drake's has been shipped today![]()
