Looking for a dress suitable for a wedding so something classy/elegant size 12-14 I have an idea myself but would be good to see other people's choices/suggestions.

Hard to say just by saying your a size 12-14. Are you tall? slim? short?

Post a pic! or give more info.

Someone suggested a tight outfit well, maybe that wouldn't suit you.. people will blind guess and assume you have the figure of there dreams.

But as some said above, this isn't the best place to ask.

Monsoon do some really nice dresses, that look elegant and classic but won't upstage the bride. They are a bit pricey though so to advise more I'd need to know a price range. Also would you be prepared to buy shoes to go with the new dress or do you have a pair of shoes you can build around you already have?

slightly off topic but is a size 12-14 the equivalent of male jeans 32-34 or 30-32? I'm presuming 10,12,14 etc are a different fit on hips too

Actually, that's a very good idea. That way we can also get an idea as to what underwear she favours and advise on a dress that would best be suited to avoid the VPL.
