I agree with people saying it's not fun and a bit silly to take part in dares like this, I personally don't find it fun but then I can't hold my drink to save my life.

My mate gets kicks out of these challenges and I'll probably enjoy watching the outcome since everybody I know has bet against him, but after reading these replies I'm confident he can do it.

Also, I haven't placed my bet yet

I've warned him till I'm blue in the face that he needs to be careful, he knows the risks

Sorry to be the boring git here, but I know people who work in the A&E at various London hospitals, and they've seen a few people die doing things like this, as well as a lot of people in real touch-and-go situations.

The thing that surprised me the most was how little some of the cases had actually drunk. I recall hearing about someone being in a coma after a glass of vodka, which I wouldn't have thought a highly dangerous amount to drink (stupid, yes, dangerous, no).

To be fair, I think spirits are where people really mess themselves up - too easy to force down far more than your body can actually handle.

With the right drink (a lightish beer - not too gassy, not too heavy etc) it could be done tbh, if you really wanted to...

If you are out and drinking in rounds i find i drink much quicker, whereas if im buying by myself, i tend to forget about the drink, and talk for ages

I always get slated when I spend the night drinking alcopops like Smirnoff Ice... considered "girly drinks" apparently

Not my fault they taste much nicer... I just go with it

POO.......em...they are girly drinks but if you mix them up it can get quite fun. I stuck to vodka + redbull/coke and some aftershock to get mad wae it.....it worked.
