Hi guys,

I was hoping any of my fellow members could recommend a decent restaurant in Leeds city centre , followed by a nice cocktail bar? We’ll be there on the 19th May to see Michael McIntyre at the First Direct Arena for my fiancee’s birthday, and we’ll be staying at The Marriott. The plan is to get some dinner before the show, followed by a cocktail or two afterwards. We’re pretty flexible in regards to cuisine,in that neither of us are fussy eaters, and ideally, we’re hoping for some recommendations for places unique to Leeds. Budget’s quite flexible to, as it’s a special occasion.

Thanks in advance guys. :)

There's loads, a lazy first pass through my memory would be

Food

Le Souz le Nez for French (independent)
Sukothai for Thai (independent)
Fazenda for "All you can eat steakhouse (top tripadvisor score for Leeds)

For a lower "class" of meal, but still fun food

MEATLiqour
Reds True BBQ (Not a huge fan myself, but very popular)

Cocktails

Angelica's - you may want to book a table
Greek Street has - The Liqourist, and the Alchemist

Nice Bar for "grown up drinks"

Rolands - Call Lane
