Okay installed a samsung 2tb and a WD ears 2tb into my pC and starting getting issues; pc freezing, freezing at "starting windows" for seven minutes, mouse lagging, BSOD once or twice. Found out by disabling the WD drive via device manager sorted it out; also noted the drive was "read only". Using disk park i got it to be normal so can read/write however after reboot it still took seven minutes at "starting windows". Also note it is visible in BIOS but NOT visible as on the list of drives in POST. It also took about five minutes to do a QUICK format. I am doing a full wipe with C Cleaner and a full format via windows to check if the resolves the issues. It as 100% health in HD sentential and passed the quick surface test

Is the drive failing? What else can i do and what program should i use to REALLY test the drive since i don't want to loose any data! (windows based programs would be best)

Thanks

This is the BSOD i got. Also forgot to mention that the drive is connected through a PCI sata card which may esplain why it does not show up uo during POST but does that explain the 7 minute stalling if i dont have it disabled?

don't know what that code is without googling

if its faulty it would slow the startup down with the bios trying to detect it,have you right clicked it and tools and run chkdisk for any errors?

Min dump folder is empty; if i get one again ill post it

how do i do C:\Windows\Minidump\040913-443682-01.dmp via CMD since when trying to do it via windows explorer it freezes?

Thanks
