I have a Drobo 5D3 with 3x Seagate Baracuda Pro's (ST4000DM006), as recommended by Drobo, and I'm looking to add another 2x drives to fill the remaining bays (2-4TB capacity ideally). Seemingly the aforementioned drive is unattainable right now (not even in stock in the store), which is odd. I assume a supply issue somewhere?
Any other recommendations out there, of an equivalent product / price point, for this application? Must be 7200rpm, 3.5" SATA.
Other recommended drives from Drobo are (which again are either unavailable or significantly more expensive):
