Driver keeps stoping

Run memtest for atleast 7 passes. If it comes up with any errors even after setting up the timings and voltages 100% correctly then the memory itself is faulty. memtest takes a long time unfortunatly mate.

Btw, my MOBO only lets me increase voltages by 0.2 per time so i have to have it on 1.64v

After one test I've got 10 errors, defo the ram then? Also, there is errors column and a ECC Errs which one do I look at?

Should have a number of errors up in the topish right. If you are sure you have done your memory right then send it back to OCUK. Bear in mind that if you have set it up wrong they will charge you ~£20 to send it back to you. I would phone them up tomorrow morning and get them to check your timings and voltages over the phone with you. If they are set correctly then you will need to RMA the memory to OCUK (presuming you bought it from them).

Keep us posted.

Ah ok cheers, is it worth trying the RAM in the two other slots? My RAM being on 1.64v and not 1.65v won't affect it will it? I can only go up in 0.2's and obviously 1.65 isnt a even number.

Mine requires the same voltage as yours and I have it on 1.66v (i can only go up by 0.02v too) with no issues. Double check you have your timings and voltages done correct (im assuming you've read your manual on how to do it). Run the test again, if still getting faults, phone OCUK tomorrow and get them to talk you throw the process of memory set up, and if you are still getting errors then you need to RMA the memory to them.

EDIT: Your mobo will require them to be in specific slots. make sure you have them in the right ones as well (check manual). You don't just shove them in any old slot.

Looked in manual and i definitely have them in the right place. Noticed in the manual that on the compatibility list of the RAM it supports, all the OCZ 4096MB RAM is either 1.8v or 1.95v, no mention of a 1.65v kit of RAM. Could this be the problem or?
