Drives detected but not visible

Pretty straight forward, I've got a SSD running my OS just done a fresh build first install. I have 3 drivers connected in total. The SSD is running the OS. I can see the other two drives in device manager but they aren't showing in 'My Computer'.

Any ideas?

Okay I think I'm on to something I've gone into the 'Manage' section of My computer and then 'Disc Management'.

Do I want to create 'New spanned volume' or 'New striped volume'?

Actually I don't think it's either of those I want.

I just want to get them visible I presume by formatting but there isn't an option for that.

There are options to create GPT disc or Dynamic disc

I would think you would want them as "Basic" and format them to NTFS (if not already formatted)...
