Drives in RAID

Hi guys,

Hard disks in a RAID array - is it best to keep both disks in a RAID1 array the same make and model, or do they just need to be the same size?

They don't need to be any of those, but the speed/capacity will be limited to whichever is lowest.

tbh I've noticed that running different drives that are all aparently the same size (320gb) you can have a HUGE difference between the real world formatted size!
personaly I always go for the same drives if I can at all
