Driving Test (Practical)

Like I said, the minors were mainly due to nerves and anxiety. I believe I was ready, so did my instructor. Aside from one lesson leading up to the test my driving was pretty good.

The examiner didn't point out any weak areas, he just said you went wide on the turn and I had to alert you to a car coming (which I saw and acted upon, the driver didn't have to slow or change direction). No other feedback than that, which to me says my driving wasn't that bad.

remember the examiner is your mate, take an opportunity he gives you to strike up a conversation. He wants you to relax, and he wants you to pass :)

I agree, On my test I went out of my way to strike up a conversation, about where I work etc...........

He passed me..... ;)

I took my test around this time last year.

The lesson before my test - I nearly lost control of the car by clipping a grass verge at 60 MPH. Needless to say the instructor went nuts at me and I learnt my lesson

When my driving test came around, I managed to fluke it and pass first time.

on reverse round a corner if a vehicle comes up behind you you should stop and go into neutral, to remove reverse signal, and then wait for their reaction, if they go round you, wait, if they dont, 1st and out the corner, then go again...think that was what my instructor said, and ive got my test at the end of the month lol

....and writing that has started to make me nervous hehe as this situation is more than likely to come up on my test
