Driving Theory Test

Haha you have the same idea as my brother and his mate, they're both taking theirs on Friday. My brother hasn't even started lessons yet but just wants to take it before it goes up to £28 or whatever it is. My brothers mate in on his 5th attempt :/.

As said keep practising the questions and youll be fine.

You'll pass easy mate, just keep a cool head and be sure of yourself. Its easy to doubt yourself in situations like tests, even if your sure you know the answer.

I had a mate who managed to fail his Theory, and the banter afterwards wasn't pretty :D. But don't worry, you will be fine, my mate is a certified idiot.

See above, my brothers mate has failed 4 times so far and one of them times his mum went with him to take hers and passed :D. My brothers not the sharpest tool in the box but hes been taking mock tests and practice questions on my PC and is starting to pass every time after just a few hours of revising.

Its the questions that arn't obvious and you need to learn them that catch people out. Such as "How many times more likely are you to have an accident whist using a mobile phone", this would just have to be a guess if you don't know it (its 4 times BTW). The rest are pretty much common sense, especially the "you arrive at an accident ones". There is someone in critical condition do you A offer them a fag :D.

If you can get hold of the Focus theory CD that is a great help, it will keep giving you the questions you are weakest on over and over until you know it. Its just like the real thing as well and the questions are exactly the same but worded slightly different. When i took the test i completed the questions in less than 5 mins as every question that came up was the same as i practiced, so i was just clicking next then the answer like i was sat at home on my PC.

My mum passed her theory test about 3 weeks ago at the right old age of 58.
Since my dad died about 4 months ago she decided that she has the need to get around, so she is working towards getting her Automatic Only licence.

She hasn't had a lesson yet but wanted to get her theory out of the way before the number of questions etc went up.
She passed her's first time - me was extremely proud of her.
So, if my 58 year old mum can pass the theory first time around without having had any driving lessons yet, I'm sure all you lot with your much younger brains will be able to cope!

well im passing hazzard perception every time, just need to know the facts for the theory one, as thats where i lose marks :P

ill report back at about 9 2moz night, as im at work the rest of the day, so if i fail its gonna be a **** day ;)

yay i passed it!! just about :)

got 33/35 which i was pleased with, but got 47/75 on the hazard perception :O passed that by 3 marks, i got 1 mark on the double hazard clip, which is where i lost most of my marks, but i got mainly 4's on the others so i guess it wasnt too bad.

I dont understand, I had a mate who passed 2 days ago who had the test with 35 questions, then I saw LewisStuarts post about him passing the new 60 question format, and now taz488 having taken the 35 question test.

Is it at the test centres own discretion as to when they implement the new format?
