2gb size would be enough for me, so size dont come into it ;)

I will be using this on my desktop and my android phone (S3)
and maybe sharing a few files with friends & family.

would welcome any comments on what one works best and is simple to use ?

I know there are others like sky drive, but from what i'v seen something simple as i think dropbox is would do but then wondered about google drive as i have google accounts.
Though i'v read google is a bit too nosey !!!!

Thanks for any input folks ;)

Dropbox all the way. It has the most mature client of all the various ones, is super quick (and super efficient) in syncing changes, has the most integration with other apps, has many ways in which you can earn additional storage if you need it (or you can always pay). I highly recommend it.

Another vote for Dropbox.

I have it on my work work pc, home pc and iphone and it works flawlessly. It's also very easy to share a file or folder with someone.
