Hats off to Game.
I've just taken delivery of my Lite in white.
It was dispatched yesterday (as per my opening post in the thread).
I didn't really expect it to arrive a day before the official UK release date.

So for anyone else who used Game Online as a pre-order - you can expect a delivery today.
Bah! Mine didn't arrive :( Got an email Wednesday morning saying it had been sent so was hopeful. Oh well, it'd better turn up tomorrow.

Last time I checked the UK didn't use dollars :p.
It's £19.99 delivered (click on the UK flag) and from what I've been hearing from people who've ordered it's being sent from within the UK so will arrive next day.

heh mines been dispatched from the river even though it has a delivery estimate of 28th at the earliest. Sod's law says that it'll come saturday when im at work all day and out all day sunday rather than tomorrow

Do I have to use the Nintendo Wifi dongle to go online? I don't see the point of paying out for one when I've got wireless already setup in my houe, also how will it deal with encryption on my router?

use your wireless router, and set it up in a DMZ, so that it's outside all your firewall rules. in case you're worried, this doesnt effect any other devices on your network. if you give your DS a static IP on your network (in attached devices) and set its IP in a DMZ (in WAN settings, or firewall settings) then it should function without a hitch, unless your router's not supported. i'd link you to the list, but it doesnt list every supported router (ie. mine's not on there, but it works!!)

hats off to river. EVen though i chose free delivery and screwed them out of a tenner, it arrived first thing this morning :)

Got mine this morning so a couple of pics, I also just got my first Digi camera so excuse my poor photography skillz ;)

Got my Black one this morning, from Game £99 with a copy of Super Monkey Ball thrown in for free!!

Some (bad quality) pictures, Check out the fingerprints in the last one :(

The inside is a matt black colour

Nice and glossy exterior, tried to get a reflection of ocuk on the lid.

2 minutes after this (very) amateur photo session, fingerprints ahoy!

Well pleased, no dead pixels or any other worries, time to get it charged up fully. ta-ta.

So if i'm reading this right as most of the above is japenese to me ;) The DS just gets set up differently on the router and the rest of your network, ie laptop and x360 will function just fine? The rest of the items on my net work wont lose their inbuilt firewall cover?

I got mine early this morning and I have to say I'm in love with it. The screens are amazing, especially when playing animal crossing! Everything comes alive.

:p

that's true. if you set your DS in a de-millitarised zone (DMZ), none of the other devices on your network will be affected :)

whats the must have game out at the mo???

I might just get one of these today...or an xbox 360 lol !
