DS215J Migrate to larger disks

I would like to expand my NAS from 2x2TB to 2x4TB. This article suggests I can do so replacing one disk at a time, anyone have any experience of this?

Are your disk in SHR?

Ie 2xtb = 2tb space, mirrored.

If so, just remove one disk. Then add a 4tb. One the data has replicated, remove the other 2tb and add the second 4tb.

I'd consider 6tb reds, only about £2.50 more per tb

More like £45 per TB.

When I bought mine..

~£210, divide by 6 = £35 per TB
£130, divide by 4 = £32.5 per TB.

So ~£2.50 per TB more expensive.
