Sound like a group of mugs trying to make it up as they go along for the sake of avoiding a warranty replacement.

No way you can request a refund?

The serial sticker bit is comical, well and truely caught with their pants down. Can see these guys getting an xfx style reputation at this rate.

I cannot as i got it in January, used it for 5 months, then began all this crap... :)

So it's been out of action since March, that's sickening :( almost 9 months (and counting) to sort an rma correctly is a joke.

Surely the customer must have some sort of protection in these kinds of circumstances?

Well, it looks like my original RMA was had by OCUK on the 4th of June, so about 5 months and 16 days.. :D That does not include the weeks i tried to troubleshoot.. >.<

Surely after this length of time you have the right to a refund? Or simply get your bank to do a charge back and tell them to stick the keyboard? If you've kept all the paper work and email communication I'd love to see them mount a legal challenge against the decision.

The thing is, i don't have the slightest clue concerning all that. I've got all the emails from OCUK, Ducky and all the receipts, yeah.. :)

Simply tell OCUK and Ducky that 9 months to repair a keyboard and then trying to claim it was water damaged and all sorts is not an acceptable way to conduct business.

When I moved into this house, I told TalkTalk who were my ISP at the time I was moving and I wanted the internet live when I moved in. They took two months from my moving in date before they even wanted to send an engineer out, depsite the fact I was always ringing them asking when I was going to get one out. After two months I cancelled the direct debit for the internet, told my bank to do a charge back for the two months I'd been without internet and went with Plusnet. I then got a phone call from TalkTalk asking me what was up and had a very angry conversation with an Indian gentleman and told them they'd failed regarding any contract we'd had and that if they wanted to take me to court and explain why I'd been without internet for two months despite my informing them of my moving date they were more than welcome to. Otherwise this would be the last communication we would have with each other and that would be it. They never called back...

Well, i got given pictures from them about the water damage. I really don't understand how that could be possible. I mean the first time they opened it up and inspected it, there was no water damage and i havn't even touched the keyboard properly since i originally sent it back.

The only times i have touched it, was after i got it back to test if it had the same issues and it did... ^.^

I then get the RMA sticker business and well, as you can see from earlier posts. The sticker was intact but got refused due to the warranty sticker being damaged..

Now it has water damage strangely, which leaves me with no warranty, having to pay to get a faulty keyboard shipped back and £110 out of pocket, not to mention time and £££££££ and stress.. >.<

Then there is the final insult, Offering me a £20 discount on a new keyboard with different switches and leds. Yeah, that's great, that's still £90... for a new keyboard.. -_- after all this bs

"Dear Customer, after inspection we found your keyboard to have been used improperly. Our warrenty only covers use by humans. We suspect you may have a cat who has used its ikkle paws on it. However as a curtesy we will give you a £10 voucher off any new keyboard costing over £100. Please be advised there will be a £5 administration fee plus £2 postage. Additionally since your item had an invalid warrenty due to feline interference you were charged £20.00. You now owe us money. We tore up your voucher and threw it at the screen."

Got carried away XD but yeah screw them. No thanks.

Hope OcUK can sort them out. How old is the keyboard btw?

Do you have a copy of the S/N from the keyboard from before shipping? I'd be tempted to see if it matches with what you get back.

I'd also reiterate the point with OcUK that its been back 3 times now and all of a sudden it mystically has water damage?
