Duke Nukem Forever - did anyone else like it?

Take out the loading times, add a bit of AA and you have a very solid game IMO. It helps been a fan of Duke 3D and knowing the history of the game.
 
Just started playing this, got it for £4.60 from the Cyber Monday sale.

First thoughts, no where near as bad as what I was expecting after reading other peoples thoughts. The loading times are bad, some rough edges, a bit too linear for my tastes, but all in all it's pretty good. Just can't go in expecting it to blow you away.

its awful thats why you got it for £4.60 how many games under a year old can you get for 4.60................ only **** ones

Tbh it's not that bad a game it's decent. But it's the fact that they spent so long on it and really for the time they spent on it, it should have been a masterpiece lol. But it doesn't have a touch on duke 3d used to love that game.
