Dumb question about rj 11 dsl cable

Your actual throughput will always be less than the reported sync speed, there are overheads.

Peak time shouldn't make much difference. If your speed reduces at peak times that's your ISP to blame (and wouldn't expect any problem with Zen). I'm with Plusnet and I get the same speed (within 1Mbps) at all times of the day.

Okay, i stand corrected.

With an attenuation of 15dB I'd say your line is perhaps a little lower than its should be/is possible but it depends on how much noise and crosstalk is on the line and most importantly the state of your internal wiring. You tried plugging into the test socket behind the faceplate? - https://uno.help/knowledge-base/article/what-is-the-test-socket

I'd say leave it alone for now, with any luck G.INP will get turned on by DLM and you should see a bit of a jump in speeds, you may even get put down to a 3dB profile if you're on a Huawei cab - do you know what cab your connected to?

Not sure why you circled this, but here's what it means. :)

As above you have a 10 day DLM stabilisation period, it can (and usually will) fluctuate and drop/reconnect several times during this while the DML establishes what your line can support. This is why the advice is to plug in the router/modem and just leave it alone. It’s only 3 more days :)

Hah my connection dropped and reconnected when i was in a middle of a game they forced my connection to disconnect from well i don't know, exchange maybe?

I have seen my line stats change you see for sure which confirms what you say.

I had to reconnect my connection to achieve a higher speed but it seems zen have fixed that for me, happy i am getting 60 mbps at least, look forward to faster speed if i get that yeah.

Thought i never get above 55mbps.

My internet is responsive more so then virgin media which i like plus my games are less laggy as well in comparison to virgin media.
