Okia also done a DP5000 which was the same as the Alps MD5000 just rebranded and only sold in Europe.
Citizen also done the Printiva range but they dont support the white ribbons (altho you can trick them by swapping the barcode label to make the printer think it is a CMY or K ribbon).
Oki also done a DP7000 but it only got released in some parts of Europe and i think was also Mac only.
Kodak do the Kodak First Check and Roland do the PC-Camm printers which both use the Alps MD technology for printing (just more updated - and more costly the Kodak FC cost about £3000 )
