Dune: Part 2 (2024)

I don't mind its not a 100% repeat of the book, films have to take other routes and some characters have to be sexed up or dumbed down but yes im really sad that Howart got chopped but i like what they did with the bene gesserit side. I Hate that the almost omitted the guild, that is a really bad.
I think the fact that Aliya wasn't born and didn't kill the baron was also really bad.

I enjoyed the second film although the ending did feel rushed. Will have to give it another watch soon and I should probably read the books!
I agree with you. I really enjoyed the second film but thought part 1 was better mainly because part 2 felt rushed.

I'm nearly finished my marathon of reading the trilogy. Always wanted to read them but hadn't got round to it until now. Seeing part 2 finally nudged me to get the books, which I really enjoyed.

Enjoyed this, but have similar complaints to the first. Felt it lacked emotion, and also strangely drawn out but rushed at the same time. Would have loved to have seen it in the cinema for the sheer scale of it and the visuals and sound but didn’t get the opportunity.

And, I’ve not read the books, but Timothy Chamalet and Zendaya just seem a little young and lack a bit of gravitas?

Also, I seem to have developed an unreasonable dislike for Austin Butler and find him pretty lacking.
