I suspect bits have been left out to make Dune Messiah more fleshed out as a film, the mini series had to combine it with Children of Dune.

I enjoyed the second film although the ending did feel rushed. Will have to give it another watch soon and I should probably read the books!

First way better than the second. Something was off/missing from the second. Shame. First was a 8.5/10...Part 2, perhaps a 6.5.

I agree with you. I really enjoyed the second film but thought part 1 was better mainly because part 2 felt rushed.

I'm nearly finished my marathon of reading the trilogy. Always wanted to read them but hadn't got round to it until now. Seeing part 2 finally nudged me to get the books, which I really enjoyed.
