It's not hacked, it's loot from IMF.

Course its bloody hacked. The number of upgrades is legit and so are the rest of the other stats (I think) but that base damage sure isn't. Melee damage ramp is capped at 80 if I recall so to reach 15000 base damage it would need to start at around 7000 which clearly isn't gonna happen.

IMF loot has ruined the balance of the game, I saw an apprentice doing over 1million DPS.
 
Posting an image of random items do not prove they're legit. As I recall increasing regular base damage is capped at 80 per upgrade and (isn't it Uber Monster Fest?) that loot would require base damages in the 1000s to get that high.

They ****ed the game up the moment they introduced superloot. Then they ****ed it up even more when they turned it into pay to win by giving people who paid for DLC access to better items. Warping Core DLC was just the beginning but wasn't that bad, then they went and introduced uber monster fest for owners of the hero dlc with vastly superior loot. No doubt they'll be doing the same thing in the future. And they've shown absolutely no interest at all in making Survival playable in less than 6 hours, nor making Pure Strategy unique in some way that doesn't require extended afk'ing.
 
Yeah, the game was amazing before, then they ruined it by giving people too much insanely good loot and making the game trivial on everything except what nightmare is going to be. Do you really need to have this stupid loot to in turn ramp up the mobs by a ridiculous amount too make a game harder? I don't think so. They should have stuck with the 50^ loot and still made it challenging based around that. Now we have 150^ pets, weapons doing over 1mil DPS and as soon as you take any of these things into anything apart from nightmare the game isn't even a challenge, you can just sit there doing it all solo.

That and they haven't actually released Nightmare yet :p

Besides, the balance of the mobs gradually got worse the more extreme they made it. Poison Immune Orcs were the only enemy capable of reaching the crystal in Alchemy Labs (and they'd 2-3 shot it). Dark Elf Warriors are the only threatening enemy to your health and by doing so they're the only threatening enemy to towers too, to the point where they render them almost useless/high risk. Not to mention by late-wave survival they could deal 500+ damage even at 80% resistances and they would swarm endlessly. Last I played the only mobs in the game were poison immune orcs who run faster than Sonic and Dark Elf Warriors. Everything is just trash.

I honestly don't get why they made such an extreme jump in stats. Nightmare is just not going to work either imo. The loot stats has gone too far to balance anything. Towers that deal 2-10k dps vs heroes that hit for 10-30k per attack and they somehow have to balance the mobs for that. Either towers are going to be completely useless or enemies are going to be trivial.
 
New patch is out 15th Dec with a raised level cap apparently so maybe nightmare mode is on the brink of being introduced?

The thing that annoys me the most is Alch Labs is still buggy on survival mode.
 
The thing that annoys me the most is playing survival and just when you start getting to waves that give you loads of mana and start getting hard, The game loses connection with steam or whatever and you get disconnected..

This!

Either Steam decides to crash or Trendynet dies. A huge huge waste getting to wave 15 just when it's about to get good for it to just die, its either that or I get the bug where mobs/loot becomes invisible.

There cetainly are aspects of the game that need to be addressed.
 
Nightmare mode out 15th then, level cap raised to 74, new mythical lv74 items added and new achievements.

They also added fov change which is nice.

Agreed. You can still enjoy the game to a point but they've ruined the balance completely. Besides, its been on offer for 75% not long ago and it'll certainly be up again for the christmas sales.
