Just done the tutorial, really enjoyed it. Need to practice my melee combat, but I love throwing the axe. Just unlocked a "ballista", which is a small crossbow, not much damage, but you can leave it pre-loaded on your back, so a good panic weapon to just grab and shoot to stun an enemy I reckon. Good archers will be deadly.
Difficult to do any good archery in VR with the inability to aim properly, HMD is always in the way so it suffers from the exact same issue all VR archery games do in that you can only ever aim approximately, I suppose you do enough of it and you'll get good but having done a fair bit of archery in real life it annoys me more than I should let it lmao

Just played some more with a friend, it's great fun with a group, absolutely will be playing a fair bit of this, it has some great nuances in combat too that mean it'll take a while to master I suspect
Definitely need to work on my parrying. I do love the crossbow I have though, throwing an axe, and pulling out the crossbow for a quick bolt is great fun. I do want to find out the different weapons available, but at the same time, I don't want to just look them up, want some excitement of discovering them

I'm hoping to have a run about with my boy this afternoon/early evening. But might be available at 8ish? Can't guarantee it though. Missus probably won't be thrilled at the idea of me not doing anything but play all evening

Had an annoying bug tonight, my mate dropped out in the final fight, the game bugged out and wouldn't spawn any more enemies so I couldn't finish the dungeon, still I do now know for certain that you keep gear you have found along the way, starting to get better gear slowly, I have a nice fire damage dagger which looks very nice
I've thrown one your way, if you get one from somebody else do use it as I've already picked up one from here and don't want to be 'that guy' lol, either way enjoy the game
