Dungeons Of Eternity VR - Gauntlet Style Co-Op Greatness

Played this with a random online earlier and had great fun. It's definitely the best Quest native game in a long time. Really addictive. I'm up for a game tonight if anyone's on.

Probably my only criticism is the bow drawing mechanic is a bit iffy. Often you'll get the haptic feedback saying you've grabbed an arrow, but none is drawn. Frustrating.

I'll be watching the rugby.

Enjoying playing with my boy and his friend. Throwing dagger is fun. Crossbow is tough to aim, but I think there's a multishot enchantment which might mean you can adjust your aim. It is handy as an emergency option though. I do like running a shield however.

throwing axes is probably my fav so far

when i did the tutorial , i was getting a lot of bullseyes with it, then i took out the bow, and i missed a lot ! lol

The aim assist with throwing weapons is strong! The dagger is a bit smaller so seems to get deflected a bit less.

Climbing is ok, you need to use the quick climb option.

There's a great rush when you find new gear and again when you see the stats.

I have an issue where it occasionally won't let you throw a thrown weapon. I don't know if it's sweaty hands still registering as a grip but it's frustrating. Fixes itself shortly after.

Thanks.. it does seem a step closer to dungeons and Dragons VR, but not quite there yet...

It's not really dungeons and dragons as there's no role-playing, and very limited puzzle solving. It's much more like a VR version of the arcade game gauntlet, or even Diablo. It's a cooperative VR hack and slash game with randomly generated levels and levelled loot.

To be honest the closest other game to this I've played is From Other Suns on Oculus PC which is sort of a Sci-fi version of the same concept.
