So I was browsing the DVLA website and spotted this nugget of info....

Legal obligations of drivers and keepers of vehicles
You must tell the DVLA if you:

* change your address and or name
* make any alterations to your vehicle
* sell your vehicle

Is it the same as insurance? (do you need to ring them up and declare alloy wheels? rear lights etc? or is it for massive chassis changes and engine rebuilds?

correct gearing and you can pull anything :)

doesnt have to be a micra engine. you could be on a winner here. design a massive lux boat 4x4 thing with a tiny engine.

get posh spice in one and away you go! you will sell loads.

if you have more than one engine do they count the total power or the individual ones.... i'll have 4 1l turbo engines in my SUV please :D

You can't have more than one engine being used on the public highway.

EDIT - Or is that you can't have different axles being powered by different engines on the public highway.... can't mind.

Twin-engined vehicles are perfectly legal. A fallacy purported by the gimps on Scrapheap Challenge.
