DVLA change of address any way to avoid the fee?

I would have expected it to be free but I was told by someone at work it would cost. They must have got it confused with what it costs to update the photo part.

Still the cost of doing things like updating passports and driving licenses etc is not cheap!

This is what happens when you believe what other people say without checking it yourself :D.
 
If your photo needs changing at the same time, then you have to pay. I had to pay when I updated mine the other month, as the photo needed updating to my passport one for some reason. :s
