Dying Light - PC next gen zombie open world game?

Delay confirmed by devs, but only for physical versions in Europe and other territories. Will affect physical versions on console and PC.

From their Facebook page:

OFFICIAL STATEMENT:
There will be a short delay in the release of physical copies of Dying Light in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. The game will have a global digital release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC of January 27, 2015. As physical production has a longer lead time than digital there is some delay in the aforementioned territories. We will share information on the availability of physical copies as soon as it is confirmed.

I've ordered the Collector's Edition from someone in Poland and I will still get the game on time (ish) :). It turns out the physical copies of the game are being delayed in all European countries except Poland. I can't wait to give this a go.

It's from the collectorsedition.org forums. You have to register on the forums and then check the Group Buys and Exports section. It's a really great section where people will send you items exclusive to their country.

There's a huge amount of trust involved but I see no reason why this person would scam given their reputation. I paid £56.92 for the collectors edition which doesn't include postage. However I think it is worth it (I'm a sucker for gaming collectables and steelbooks) and it will be worth a bit in the long run especially considering it is exclusive to Poland. The box is also autographed :).

I too think it a great price for what is included. However you also have to take into consideration the postage costs which have not yet been announced. There is a discussion going on to have all of the CE's for the UK be sent to someone in the UK who will then send them to everyone else allowing for cheaper postage costs for everyone. This way you are only paying for domestic postage not international. Nothing has been decided yet though.
 
Yeah, Ive changed my thinking a little as I had the physical version on preorder but with this delay, Im inclined to keep my preorder and see what users and reviews say on the 27th. This way I can cancel if it turns out to be a turd.

My cynical spidey senses are thinking we may have a big day one patch coming and an average game that has been overhyped. We shall see.

I pray it isnt as Dead Island was a chore to play, this looks the same but with a bit of energy pumped into it.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
Dying Light will have a worldwide digital release on PC of January 27, 2015.
In North and South America, the digital release and physical copies for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be available at the same day.
In Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia, Dying Light will have a digital release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One of January 28, 2015.
Physical copies of the game will be released in these territories on February 27, 2015. Additionally all of the physical preordered versions will include two DLC packs, Cuisine & Cargo and Ultimate Survivor Bundle, free of charge.

Guess the physical copies don't matter to much for the PC version.

Hello mate.

I registered on the site where you have ordered yours from. I want to get the PS4 CE version. How does the postage work though, I am confused? I have to pay 400PLN for the game, that's fine I understand that. But, he said postage is more, but how do I know how much to pay? Will they message me or something when he has got them to send out?
