Dying Light - PC next gen zombie open world game?

Is there a link to modding dying light? There's no instructions on your mod page.

There's a Readme heading half way down the page, the first one is called 'Desc', the Readme one is the 9th along. There is also the same Readme in a text file in the mod download zip.

Basically just copy all the files/folders in the zip file to your Dying Light install folder and play game! :)

Hi everyone,

Just looking at dying light for the first time, what's the co-op like on it? How does it compare with the single player etc?

Thanks :)

I bought it last week, it's very good and quite immersive.

Killing zombies is very satisfactory in the game, the sound effects once you start bashing them are great. Something about smashing the heads open off a zombie that makes you want to keep going back for more :D

There are many different types of weapons in the game, single/double handed, you can add modifications to them as well, so say you have a gas/water pipe, you add a mod to it so that it adds electricity to your blows.

Crafting is pretty good, there are 3 different type of skill trees for you build up as well. Which adds extra abilities to your power/skills etc.

Weapons break after certain amount of hits as well which is a pain in the arse.

Co-op is fun if you don't fancy killing zombies you can just run around doing parkour with your teammate, freerunning in this game is great, you can hop jump and climb almost anything in the world.

Only one gripe for me is that if you join another co-op session from where you are in the campaign, it won't save that progress onto your single player campaign so you have to start from that point again once the other person has quit/or you quit. To counter that just keep your games open so other people can join you.

It's worth the £12.99 I paid for it imo.

Does anyone else who still plays this (or did play it) ever bother with the companion app on their phone?

Am sending out scouts on missions and then I presume I can bundle the items they find together and make them available to myself in game at the Quartermaster?

Seems a decent enough idea if you've got time to kill on the train or whatever ... sorry if it's been torn apart previously but I've not read ALL of the 1600+ posts ha

Was useful when they got it to work properly.
