Although i disagree with the mosque proposal, who says this country is owned by any one religion

It's not, I suppose that's the point. Maybe there are some muslims who think it should be 'owned' by a religion like many middle eastern countries are. But the fact is this country isn't controlled by religion and that's the way it should stay.

I can't see this happening to be honest, they'd never get planning permission or enough public support for it.
