* e3 2008 Live Coverage Discussion *

I hoped they would announce a blu ray system but that Netflix looks really good. Dont really want to send stuff back in the post or buy a HD player when i can download films in HD with a subscription.
 
Lol i told you Microsoft always have a biggy at the end! Very good conference in all far far better than last years one. FF13 is a huge announcement for MS, dont think it will help much in Japan but when MS money hats call not many say no lol (not saying it was down to that). The netflix thing was another thing many had talked about and its a great idea but was it mentioned as a world wide thing or just US? MS have taken a few ideas from both Sony and ninty but that is to be expected, surprised the motion controller, forza 3 or the new 60Gb (US only) SKU wasnt mentioned unless i missed it.
Be intresting to see how the other "Big 2" go on tuesday, both need to pull the fingers out a bit now, but we'll see.
None of the games they showed made me want to go and get a 360 though, just showed games we all ready new about and some casual ones i dont care for.

Im pretty sure that he mentioned Netflix was bound for EU as well, it was the NBC content that was a US first release. I dont see the point in letting US get it first and letting EU down again.

a lot of posative things from the conference, i might get that LIPs game for my sister as a crimbo present so not everything i hated came out bad.

Games that have not been announced, Killzone 2 (DLC?), Downloadable PS2 titles, Play TV EU release date, New eye toy games, price cut although i dont think its feasable as they have stated.
