sad times when the most exciting thing of this conference will be Nintendos new console....this year would have been equally as pointless as last years if it wasnt for that.

Halo game is going to be announced, there was a snippet of info on http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Community/E3 with a picture of Master Chief and an AI but the whole page has changed now. It had a link with it that just linked back to xbox.com

Agreed. I'm finding little to get excited about in the games world at the moment. Some new consoles would be very welcome.
Nintendo could once again steal the show with little more than the promise of new hardware. Add a few big names in fancy HD and there'll be no contest.

why do we need new consoles to make E3 exciting? do all u guys care about is graphics? what happened to gameplay?
And i see people complain how most are sequal titles. what do you expect? Most here always buy the COD's and mass effects regardless of how little difference they is compared to the previous ones so of course they will keep releasing it this way.
vote with your wallet! And if you are in desperate need for proper 1080p/60fps gaming, why are you in thos sub forum and not in the pc gaming forum?

i have a pc that plays games at 1080p 60fps its great and all that. but i want the gaming industry to push itself forwards, its not as you put it about graphics at all. new tech encourages new developers and also encourages new ideas.
its got nothing to do with people buying COD at all, the industry is stale because it has bugger all to work with!
Indeed, we need innovation.
I have no complaints over the current generation graphics.

New consoles pushes gaming. PC's get bottlenecked by consoles.
I think graphics are fine, a lot of games on consoles suffer from bad frame rates. Games like GTA4 and LA Noire could be hugely improved in frame rate.

Honestly think Im much more worried about innovation and originality than the power of the tech used for gaming. And its only us as the gaming public to blame for that - publishers are only interested in safe bets nowadays...

Bah, hardcore PC gamers don't care about innovation, they threw scrorn at the Wii, derided Move and Kinect and are all happily playing WoW, the next generic but slightly shinier fps, formulaic rts multiplayer games and 2D adventure games for 40 somethings who can't adapt. Ooo I'm a PC gamer, I want the next best thing as long as I can use a keyboard and mouse and not have to move from my snacks... now which east european rpg to play next?*
