E3 2013

The Division trailer looks great but I'm pretty certain that unless you have a close knit group of friends who you'll be playing it with you're going to get lumbered with a random bunch of idiots "Rambo"ing it with little regard to the needs of anyone but themselves. I was hoping the voices were some great acting with some fantastic dynamically responsive AI. However, I believe it was actually just some actors emulating the experience one might have when playing it online.

Indeed. No way would I play that with randoms. Clan members and friends only

But the PS4 isnt out yet?

There is nothing that I'm playing on my pc and nothing i foresee playing for a long time.

Sell now and get more for it then i would if i sold it later in the year.

I'm not saying PC gaming is dead or anything, its just not compatible with my life any more.

OMW I am drooling over the Division:) I love my pc and I only use the PS3, netflix, streaming and blue rays. The only gameing that gets done is by my 6 year old son. The PS4 looks like the console to buy from what I have read MS have dropped the ball.

lol noticed that gimpy, same footage by the look of it but i always find the guy interesting to listen too, and LOL at the WarZ dig from the interviewer at the start

Sad to see e3 finish.

Gametrailers coverage sucked ***. They only covered the main conferences.

Gamespot whom I have disliked for a while had amazing coverage with "gamers" hosting, not the gimps in suits that gametrailers had.

Their stage segemnts were great, allowing smaller teams to show off their work.

British reporters too.

Well done Gamespot.

Not great from my perspective, as a PC gamer primarily.

Looking forward to GTA5 and MGS5, and both seem to be console exclusives for at least 6 months if not more.

Anyone know a link to the entire PC E3 or whatever it was that happened today? Thanks!

EDIT: Should check the thread before I post. Man Dean Hall's so tiny, I'm surprised he could climb a ladder let alone Mt. Everest. Haha.

Well I was excited about the division but I just watched that game spot interview with the devs and the only way you encounter other humans is if u invite them to the session, so u won't be just randomly bumping into players like in dayz or whatever. On top of that u can only have pvp encounters in specific parts of the world.

Meh

I don't think that's what they said.

There are Dark zones in the game where you can have both PVM and PVP combat, so traveling in those areas means you might meet humans aggressive to you.

That sounds pretty standard for a MMO anyway. These days they all have either specific PvP servers or special areas.

It just moves it away from an all-out shooter like BF3
