E3 2018

Pete Hines and Todd Howard have repeatedly said that Bethesda Game Studios has two titles to release before it even start planning Elder Scrolls 6.

People forget that Todd denied that a Fallout sequel was in development in 2014, only to announce Fallout 4 in June 2015 and release it a few months later in November. Let's hope we see a similar trend!

I can't wait for Cyberpunk 2077! I can honestly see it burying the Deus Ex franchise. Square Enix needs to be more ambitious, as the recent games are more akin to Metal Gear Solid than the original Deus Ex.

What is the point in E3 nowadays? It really is just sequalitis at this point.

Yep, it's sad that we will barely see a single original title. The industry has become very stale in thinking outside the box. The biggest 'innovation' in the last few years was battle royal style games. And even then, H1Z1 started that long ago.

At least the survival genre has died down a bit. Those copy and pasted 'beta access' games were horrible and a total cash cow.

I get the lack of original games but the division was new only a couple of years ago, Cyberpunk 2077 is also new IP. Studios and publishers would be taking a HUGE risk with a brand new IP given the production costs of an AAA game these days. Would the division have sold as well without 'Tom Clancy's'? Who knows, but Ubisoft couldn't take the chance.

The problem isn't taking chances, it's big corporate companies that aren't really "in it" for legitimately making creative art, it's just a cash cow to the likes of Ubisoft.

In ubisoft's defence they have been alright lately as they seem to have learned a few lessons from their chequered past (and public reactions) but EA outdo anything bad that Ubisoft does. They are just the worst.

I'm hoping we get a firm release date for Cyberpunk 2077. Anything beyond that is a bonus. It's the only game in recent years that I've had any serious interest in.

because the so called work has been put in and they have a good record of producing a decent game.that said e3 like many things is just a promotion sales time.i always expect one game i dont know about to be good.

Rage 2 had me like thinking WTF ?

Why is everyone so interested in Cyberpunk? We know very little about

The fact that it's being created by the people behind my all time favourite game, The Witcher 3, coupled with my love of all things Cyberpunk, is more than sufficient to warrant an interest. Also, I think the lack of information we've been given so far, heightens people's curiosity.

I'm hoping for the following.

Red Dead Redemption 2
Gears of War 5
Tenchu (Shadowsdietwice)
Ghost of Tsushima
Cyberpunk 2077
Resident Evil 8
Total War: Three Kingdoms

Two things for me

1) The setting - I love all thinks cyberpunk
2) The pedigree of CD Projekt Red. The three Witcher games have been excellent.

Oh I see, thanks guys. So it's more to do with the team and their history rather than the game at the moment.

Can't see Elder Scrolls 6 being announced but would be delighted if it was. Cyberpunk will be interesting. Apart from that, meh!
