***E3 2019***

Prediction: Bethesda show will be 50% microtransactions.

That little?

This will be the first year I couldn't give a hoot about Bethesda's offerings. Unless of course they're talking about a single player, full RPG, not-watered-down experience without horse armour, microtransactions, dedicated launcher, gimped modding features or bugs. Lol, course there's going to be bugs. :D

I'm hoping to see more of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. I've been playing the first Bloodlines recenly and having a blast with it.

I'll be tuning into the PC Gaming showcase that's for sure... will Tim Sweeny show his disgusting face? Will he get booed or jeered off the stage? (Not likely actually, most everyone in the show will have probably been paid by Epic to be there and cheer loudly at everything)

That's the entire show in a nutshell, lies upon lies with an audience of shills cheering all of it. It's like pro wrestling, fun and hype to watch once a year but don't buy into any of it, it's all fake.

I was trying to think what I watched last year. Then I remembered - I only bother with YouTube Live at E3 for the first two days with Geoff Keighley and then maybe IGN/GameSpot/Twitch. It's not as good as it used to be when GameSpot had the best presentation over four days.

I'll watch the highlights once it's all over. I can already imagine the way it's going to go - Ubisoft will announce another several AC games. Bethesda with discuss "updates" for FO76 and then show very brief, none-ig footage of the next Elder Scrolls game due in 2025, likely interspersed with bold face lies. Capped off with an announcement from CDProjekt stating that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released to coincide with the next ice age.

Bethesda are the only ones on there I'd be interested in seeing anything from, but I've got little hope after the old '76 incident. Will they announce TES VI? I doubt it, but I hope so. It needs to be a lot better than Fallout4 too; It was good, but it wasn't anywhere near as good as Skyrim.

It would have to be an announcement only as they've already said they won't have TESVI or Starfield at the show. I think all focus will be on Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein Youngblood, and maybe a new Evil Within.

Don't remaster a classic like that, remake it or make a sequel. There are plenty of things that need updated before i'd look at Freelancer again, the game is perfectly fine as it is, it's just very simplistic for the current market.

And for a Red Faction game it desperately needs to be more like Guerrilla, but with more depth and soul, the sequel was boring.

Forgive my ignorance then, as I don't really keep track of games these days. I'm really rubbish at trying new stuff, so if it's not Skyrim, Mass Effect, or STALKER, I'm usually not interested ha.

Hoping for news on a new Alien game, one of the Mass Effect writers tweeted a picture from Aliens yesterday of Newt in the sewer with an Alien behind her and the caption "SOON..."
