120fps at 4k (maybe with RTX at a push) should be the bar they're aiming for, for next gen really no ?

No, SoC and SSDDId he just say the combination of the SSD and the solid state drive?
more like 120fps at 1440P or some other scaled performance, not at 4K unless navi is 4 times the power of a rtx2080ti or there abouts.
I doubt we'll get 4k/120fps either, but remember that closed systems are much quicker than PC hardware running under Windows.
and its using VRR, just have to wait to see what new TV's CES 2020 bringsI doubt we'll get 4k/120fps either, but remember that closed systems are much quicker than PC hardware running under Windows.
Was it just me, or did they specifically say Scarlett had hardware ray tracing?
they said it, so that means navi must have it.
Not necessarily. Microsoft and Sony heavily customize the parts that AMD have. I think it's rumoured that these early Navi cards won't have RT but the next ones will.
AMD and Microsoft have co-designed and co-engineered a custom, high performance AMD SoC to power Project Scarlett to deliver an incredible gaming experience, including the next-generation of performance, graphics, lighting, visuals, and audio immersion. This processor builds upon the significant innovation of the AMD Ryzen™ "Zen 2" CPU core and a "Navi" GPU based on next-generation Radeon™ RDNA gaming architecture including hardware-accelerated raytracing.

It felt like a kids show.
