Is there a workaround to play BF2142 in local mode? It seems ridiculous that you can't play if you can't connect to EA.

nope, no workaround, just sit and wait for the numpties at EA to work out that they have now backup plan and stick their heads back up their ass / sand or whatever

you know, working in IT, if my communication skills were the same as EA's my customers would have found another supplier

what really makes me laugh, and i mean laugh is the fact that all the other EA forums are online but the EA games one isnt........

too much -ve publicity that they have no answers for I suppose
