Don't blame the OP. The Origin system shouldn't allow such a thing to happen.

I just logged into Origin to have a look myself and it's not obvious at all. That stinks.
There was some disclaimer at the very bottom of the page, once you've clicked a few times, but who reads the bottom of the page when you think you've got a bargain?
Exactly my point. it's like filling up with premium fuel and then told that premium is just additives and the normal fuel is still needed.
