no it wouldn't.
no one is paying £30-50 to watch game of thrones that would be more like paying for EA's origin access and receiving a bunch of early access games as part of that subscription that only get finished if they are popular enough.

One thing I can be glad of is that despite all the early access titles I have bought, I have never once paid £30-50 for any of them

I'm sorry, I realise that I was confusing cdkeys with other less reputable resellers: cdkeys are merely parasitic scum that harm game developers and not parasitic scum that harm game developers and thrive on fraud.
