I'm in Leicester, the house shook and made me concerned at the build quality, as it felt like a wet paper box being pushed about but not much else....minutes after i returned to my PES game and beers.

I did have a bacon sandwich to relieve the earthquake stress though....lol

I was awake for the last one, this one did wake me and the missus up but we thought it was our **** of a neighbour till we switched on the tv this morning.

Ermm is it me or is the great british public overeacting? Every interview I see on the TV (especialy ITV) is like ZOMG!!! WTF!!! THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE!!! CRYING SOBBING.... etc etc.

Umm it was a tiddly quake get a grip for gods sake.

Hit Nottingham, woke me and the misses up.

Scared me at the time, seems kinda cool now though.

Felt it in N.London early this morning - I knew what it was having been in quakes before, still odd and amazing to feel in this country!

I bet you they blame this on "global warming" rubbish. :/

Yeh British public over react rofl!, stories and interviews im seeing on tv, and news channels, that one man thought it was a terrorist attack, another man thought he was gonna die so he went and jumped in his bath, Another thought the nearby petrol station had blew up....all pretty odd...

I woke up, i felt myself shaking like mad i just thought i had a hedache or something lol, went straight back to sleep, then my nan came in and said did you feel that! i said feel what, she said the earthquake, so then i was like ahhh thats what it was

Weird - I'm in the South East, just above Brighton. At just before 1:00am when I was getting ready for bed I heard a loud, low rumble that lasted for a few seconds. I couldn't work out what it was and dismissed it as nothing in particular!

Didn't feel/notice any tremors though.

But but but but but this is SERIOUS !!! An old man hurt his leg when a chimney collapsed , AND , (I can hardly bring myself to say this as I'm still in shock) I read earlier about a 50" plasma falling off the wall !!!!!!, my best wishes go to the owner, truly a sad day.
