I'm building a HTPC and will probaly get a sony BDP 350 I have seen one in action and TBH IQ looked great at a great price.

Yeah definitely the top colour. Easyrider, have you considered painting the ceiling between the beam and the projector wall, in a dark velvety colour? Maybe the walls from the beam aswell, will really help with contrast. Even better, chuck some material up there.

Dude thats really cool, how did you do it

just outline each wall and colour in with a fill.

only takes a couple of minutes but if you need a propar full detail and realistic image it would take me a lot longer. but ill do it

As already mentioned, how about doing the screen wall black or dark grey, and the other walls a dark purple. Would look pretty sweet. Failing that I think that the green mock up looked very good.

I recently painted my room both Mineral Haze and Grey Steel 2. from the dulux range.

I Project onto the Grey steel and I get a good picture. The room isnt really that dark, but pretty nice
