Just saved £12 on a Oem Sony Stereo for the Wife's Fiesta - been putting it off as didn't want to spend more than £50 - got the single CD MP3 capable one, removal keys and aux-3.5mm cable for £48.
Why do offers like this always seem to come up the week before payday?
I've not seen the ebay one before but it does seem that big 'across the board' offers tend to come up when I'm waiting for payday rather than when I've just been paid and have money to burn.
So I am sitting here looking at a checkout page with some headphones I don't need for £150.00 (from Korea) which in the UK cost £280.00 having redeemed a tenners worth of nectar points I did not know I had and having entered the 20% code and also being able to bag another fivers worth of Nectar points on the 6x times thing and I feel stupid for getting this far when I really really don't need them but I am one click away from happiness and guilt all rolled into one and I know I will be disappointed when they turn up as audio stuff never is as good as you would hope.
I saw this on HUKD earlier. After umming and arring over what to get to maxximise the £50 saving it occurred to me that I'd simply be spending money for the sake of it and decided not to get anything.
... and a few mins later it dawned on me that I've been looking for a new VDSL router and was going to buy one in the next couple of days. So I just went for a Netgear D7000 and saved £33 on a purchase I would have made at full price anyway.
