thanks for all the help guys...

my bro just sent me £200 and now i'm ending this with a full refund. he says he is happy to pay cash or try again, but i dunno now...

just start again. U don't need griefers like him!

well he reckons he has paid the money in via a bank transfer, so if that is the case it should show tomorrow or today, if it's not there by sat i will email him and state it's being relisted. if he is a good guy, he really has not helped himself!

like i said he does not help himself, i'm still waiting for the funds to clear in my bank if he has sent them! i get this!

ok.. ! well if it clears today will there any possibility of you getting the item to me before sunday morning? is there that possibility? I can pay more.. !?

He should have done it over the counter, would have been instant.

Exactly, his problem if he wanted the item that quickly. You can't send the item until it has cleared as you have no proof the transfer has been initiated.

i did tell him to pay the cash in, which makes me doubt him even more, i check the bank each day and know it takes time, in away i just want him and this out the way and done with. if the money is not in on monday i'm relisting!

Bank transfer is the way forward; using different banks and want the payment/item fast, get/send bank details and do it over the counter.

Paypal is absolutely useless.

Give your bank a call and ask them if theres any incoming transactions that havent shown up yet. HSBC have done this a few times with me before.

This whole thread reminds me why i dont use fleabay tbh.

this guy sounds like a scammer....you can tell by the fact that he is willing to pay more so you send the item out early. Any genuine bidder would not be as persistant as he has in terms of payment if they knew that the payment was legit.

The fact that you have refunded him the money and given him another opportunity to pay using a bank transfer would mean that he would pay if he really wanted the item. If he claims to have paid it would show up within 3 working days or sooner. If the money does not appear in your account by Tuesday at the very latest relist the item.

i think you have summed it up, i have to be fair and give it a week to clear, but yeah i just want to relist and move on! what a bugger!

Check with your bank first to see if it can be recalled - I once sent some money via transfer to a guy on these very forums, after nothing happening for about a week we discovered he had unfortunately given me the wrong account number, so i had to contact my bank and they put a trace on the money and it was back in my account within a day.

The reason i say check, is because i don't know if my money went into someone elses account and was recalled or was just sitting in the system not having a valid account number to go to.
