Ebay best for second hand components?

I Know there are scammers out there but ebay would not exist as a marketplace is sellers were getting this hassle all the time.
there must be literally hundreds of thousands of seamless transactions take place on there every day.
I buy parts for my business and I notice that the sellers have 10s of thousands of positive feedback (some over 100k)
They simply wouldn't be able to thrive without having (for the most part) seamless sales.

eBay is amazing for smaller items, especially the harder to find ones. As well as items that are sold in large volumes. I'm sure the statistics on radiator keys and packs of 10 nail glue show next to no issues, with the majority of the issues being lost post problems. However, for hardware, it's just too difficult to prove that it was working up until the time you posted. What if, you recorded your video and then dropped the graphics card on the floor after you stopped the video? The buyer would rightly be able to claim it's broken. I guess that's the stance eBay takes.

As for the MM, it's amazing. Prices are very fair, no one is taking a percentage of your sale and you're buying and selling with like minded people.

Oh sure its fine for low value items I almost always buy small parts and components there not much risk of getting scammed on a bag of screws. Its high value items that carry more risk.

MM is good if you're buying but prices are better on the 'bay if you're selling, but carry an inate higher risk. eBay also has much more variety as its obvously much larger.
